Why is FAYOSE complaining about the FAYEMI built Governor's lodge?

The new Kaduna
Governor's lodge that was
commissioned yesterday,
October 28, 2014 was built
at a cost of 9.6 billion
naira. Out of this amount,
N277, 179 was spent on
Goodrington Lodgefurnishing while N257,
694,784 was spent on
Sewage treatment plant.

The lodge is a two story
building with 13 rooms.
I also learnt that Plateau
State another PDP State
built its own Governor’s
lodge at the cost of N10
billion naira while Bayelsa
State Governor’s lodge is in
the region of N20 billion
naira. Details of these
buildings shall be provided
later.
Ekiti-State Governor's
lodge is a 4 storey building
of a basement, 1st, 2nd
and 3rd floors. There are
about 40 rooms
comprising of 8 bedrooms,
3 waiting rooms, 7 living
rooms, 2 banquet halls,
media room, Governor's
office, 1st Ladies office,
security rooms, one big
conference room and main
dining hall. There are 7
staff quarters, drivers’
quarters and relaxation
areas, a gatehouse and a
multipurpose lawn tennis
and badminton court.
There is an helipad and a
very large compound with
2 kilometers of asphalt
road to the lodge. All of
these, including the much
exaggerated furniture,
fittings and beddings put
together cost over N2
billion naira even though
Mr. Fayose and his aides
continued to inflate the
figures to N3.3 billion.
In Kaduna state, there are
many unemployed people
and despite vacancies in
the Civil Service, no major
recruitment has taken
place in the last 25 years
except those done
underground while the
Fayemi administration
recruited over 1000
workers (including
teachers) of various cadres
into all departments of the
Civil service in 4 years.
Fayemi created other jobs
like the Peace Corps, EKSMA
and Youth Volunteers,
while many youths were
trained under various
schemes like O'dua/EEDA
Skill acquisition scheme
and Youth in Commercial
Agriculture, YCAD which Mr.
Fayose recently applauded.
Fayemi took care of the
elderly by paying a
monthly stipend of N5,000
to them. He executed in 4
years, over 2,000 projects
in all 131 towns in Ekiti
State among which was
the construction,
rehabilitation and
reconstruction of about
1,038 kilometre of federal,
state and local
government roads.
Now the question is this,
why are PDP apologists in
Ekiti shouting as if Fayemi
has committed murder by
bequeathing an enduring
and befitting legacy to the
State why they have
suddenly become dumb
and deaf to the colossal
waste in Kaduna state? Is it
because Ekiti belonged to
the opposition APC and
Kaduna belongs to the
ruling PDP? What is the
level of poverty in Ekiti
State now compared to
that of Kaduna and other
PDP States? They argued
for their own selfish
interest that Ekiti State
must remain in the
backwaters and a jungle
while Kaduna State is an
old state that should
develop when they don’t
even know the meaning of
development!
Talking about debts
according to the (Debt
Management Ofiice) DMO,
Kaduna State is owing a
sum of $215.6 million
while Ekiti is owing N$
36.1million. The hypocrites
will exaggerate this as if
the world has come to an
end in Ekiti while they turn
a blind eye to the worse
economic conditions in
PDP States.
The PDP pretenders should
tender an unreserved
apology to Governor.
Kayode Fayemi for the
embarrassment the lies
against him has caused all
Ekiti home and abroad
because he deserves
praises for bequeathing a
lasting legacy to the State.
This apology is also
necessary when we have
discovered that Mr. Fayose
who made the loudest
noise has been sleeping in
the Governor's lodge on
the same bed that he lied
Fayemi bought for 20
million naira where he
even hold parties with
women of easy virtues.
Fayose is a man lacking in
integrity indeed! If the PDP
refuses to apologise to Dr.
Kayode Fayemi, history will
be unkind to them and
their generation. We want
to ask Mr. Fayose what
programmes he has for
Ekiti people. Enough of
what Fayemi did and did
not do while in office!
What does Fayose want to
do for Ekiti people?
