FAYEMI LIFTS BAN ON UNIONISM IN EKITI VARSITY

Students of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti (EKSU) have lauded Governor Kayode Fayemi and the Vice Chancellor of the school, Prof. Patrick Aina, for lifting ban on unionism in the school.

The students, through the Students’ Union Government, also passed a vote of confidence on the governor, expressing support for his administration.
This was contained in a statement by the newly elected president of the union, Comrade Victor Ibitola and Public Relations Officer, Priscilla Afolabi.
The governing council of the institution had proscribed students’ unionism on the campus, following persistent unrest. The students also hailed the governor for donating an ultra-modern medical laboratory to the College of Medicine.
