Nigeria Supporters allow to Sing @ world cup

The club was banned from drumming at Nigeria’s match with Iran.
The Nigeria Football Supporters Club, NFSC, has concluded arrangements with FIFA to sing and use
drums during Nigeria’s subsequent matches at the on-going World Cup in Brazil.
The supporters’ club was not allowed to bring in its drums and trumpets during the Super Eagles’ match against Iran on Monday.
The President-General of NFSC, Rafiu Oladipo, said on Thursday in São Paulo, Brazil that the club had been given approval to bring in its musical instruments.
The Eagles will on Saturday meet Bosnia-Herzegovina in their second Group F match and Argentina on June 25 in their last group match.
“Our complaint to FIFA and the Local Organising Committee, LOC, was that if hosts Brazil were allowed to sing and drum during their matches, there was no reason Nigeria’s supporters and those of other countries present should not be allowed to do the same.
“Moreover, the Eagles had complained of our absence during their first group match against Iran and had pleaded with us to be present in their subsequent matches,” Mr. Oladipo said.
He said more than 350 members of the club had arrived in Brazil to cheer the Super Eagles to victory in their subsequent matches.
