Kayode Fayemi Campaign Organisation has alleged that former governor, Ayo Fayose is planning to set part of his office ablaze and blame same on the supporter of the All Progressives Congress.

The Spokesperson of the campaign organisation, Mr. Dimeji Daniels, said this in a statement made available to our correspondent on Wednesday.

Daniels said that Fayose was known for that kind of practice, saying he set his own water tanker ablaze and blamed it on the then sitting government.

He said, “We gathered from reliable sources that Mr. Ayodele Fayose, who is known for such stunts in the past, will any moment from now set his campaign office on fire and rush to the press to blame it on the APC.

“It will be recalled that Mr. Fayose did something similar in 2003, shortly after he was sworn in as governor. He caused his own official vehicle to be sprayed with bullets to give the impression that he was attacked. He only did this to justify his purchase of a bullet proof vehicle immediately after the phoney attack!”

But Fayose, when contacted, said that the APC had announced what they were planning to do in his office.

The candidate, who spoke through his media aide, Mr. Idowu Adelusi, called on security agents in the state to be at alert. He said the ruling party would do just as they had said.

Adelusi said, “The APC is full of people with evil intensions. They have voiced out what they are planning against us, just as they came early in this month of April to attack our office. The culprits have since been charged to court.

“We are again calling on the police and State Security Service to take note of what the Kayode Fayemi and the APC have planned to do to our office. They have voiced it out.”

Meanwhile, Fayose has advised the people of the state against releasing their voter’s card to certain people, who he said were going about buying cards from people inorder to rig the June 21 gvernorship poll.

Fayose gave the advice at Igbemo in Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area of Ekiti State during the ward-to- ward campaign tour of the council by Fayose.
